SO, this is the outcome from my viking project!

Stage 1:-
we chose our character for our piece.

Stage 2:- We painted a complete painting of how we wanted our pice to look.

Stage 3:- we set up our lightning for the scene.

Stage 4:- We add textures and colours and pose the character to make it look like the final piece!

Hmm yeah!

This is one of the vikings i showed in the last post if you remember that : )

like her pose and liked her character, she was one of the least pushed shapes i did for the viking designs but yeahh....

so i was working with colours and trying to work on my lightning, hope the improvements are noticable, however there's still much work so do : D

ENJOY

VIKINGS!

5 Week Project-
We finally got our project assignment, and it's aparently about freak'n awesome hardcore vikings!
So what we have been doing is designing vikings by using shapes such as squares, circles, rectangles and triangles : ) we were meant to try and push the shapes as much as we could, but I personally could have done better and i see that now.
However, the great thing about this project is that before we had Lawrence i had never thought that we use shapes so often uncontiously, and now that we know of this, we finally have a chance to put it to the test! : D and its great!
SO the vikings you see above^ are all the ones i designed so far, however we were only allowed to do a line up of max 5 characters and those are the ones you see below
I choose, my warrior amazonas type of viking GAL, my handsom soldior, my adventurous teen char, my old Depressed king and my weird gorrilla bodyguard. LoL
and i am now finishing the final pieces of with the depressed old king.

ROBO being Chased

SO- We had our abstract, dynamic and highly interresting week with Lawrence, where we were whipped to pieces by his awesome critiques : )

The task was to make a film noir look of either a Robot being chased, or, a robot chasing after someone/something... aparently this is no where near a film noir because i ofcourse left that important detail out :/

Anyways...

We had to describe the certain feeling we wanted out of this picture, and mine were, Fright, Attack, Anger, and shock. well atleast somewhere around those words.

Maya Lamp Bird

First entry to Maya.

So... the week with the first entry to maya was done with Carla Heinzel : )

We choose a scenery and then a character to put into the scenery, mine was a freaky Lamp bird, which was only covered with fur in the face.

the scenery was fully done in 3D and then retouched in photoshop, saved as an img and put into maya as a background img with the bird on top as another 3D, so it ended up being more of a mixture of 2D and 3D, than only 3D.

BRICOLAGE

Bricolage with Julia Bracegirdle.
We had to listen to the story of a little girl called Molly who runs into the woods and meets a monster.
<---Here you see Molly
This was my bricolage for Molly, but i ended up choosing the monster which was more fun to do anyway : )
The Maquette of the monster was a mixture of a bear, teddy, wolf and bunny : )

Stuff

-Practices-
So I was trying to work with simple line work and coloring on this one, hope it worked, atleast I think it did : )
I plan on doing more of these, get better at it and so on, and they are fun to do so why not

-final-
-Working with grayscale-

I don't usually work with grayscale so this piece was kind of hard to do :'> i'm not sure what i wanted to get out of this one, but it ended to my satisfaction.

I like the color choice a lot, but something still borthers me about this one, just can't quite see what it is...
